Course Duration :- 5 Years.

Admission Procedure :-

Admission process in MIDSR Dental College Latur is strictly as per the guidelines issued from time to time by the Govt. of Maharashtra and MUHS, Nashik. Govt. of Maharashtra and the Director of Dental Council of India issue State / National Level notification regarding the process of admission before the admissions start.

The admission to the UG courses are completely transparent and strictly in accordance with the merit list of Govt. CET conducted by Director of Dental Council of India, who is the competent authority in Maharashtra. The merit listed students are allotted the college by the competent authority. The college has, as such, no control over the admission process. However, the overall admissions are finally effected and enrolled at the MIDSR Dental College as per the merit list of the students sent by the competent authority of Govt. of Maharashtra.

A Common Entrance Test is conducted by the Government every year for UG courses. The State Government ensures complete transparency in the entire admission process. Students as well as members of the general public are free to access all the necessary information connected to the admission process from the relevant websites of the government. As such, the Institution follows the guidelines and the students who are selected by the competent authority are admitted without any bias. Students (15%) approaching for NRI / management quota are selected based on their merit and the list of the selected students is displayed prominently on the notice boards.

Requirement of Documents for admission to B.D.S Course :-

You are required to submit the following original documents and one attested copy of each at the time of admission.

  1. Receipt cum Identity Card of the MHT-CET examination.
  2. Photo-copy of filled-in Preference Form of the MHT-CET examination.
  3. Statement of Marks of the MHT-CET examination.
  4. S.S.C. Board Certificate.
  5. H.S.C. Statement of Marks.
  6. Age proof.
  7. Nationality certificate/ Domicile certificate.
  8. Caste Certificate( if applicable).
  9. Caste Validity Certificate(if applicable).
  10. Non-creamy Layer Certificate(if applicable).
  11. Leaving Certificate/Transfer Certificate (if applicable).
  12. Medical Fitness Certificate (as per Proforma of MHT-CET).
  13. Migration Certificate (if applicable).
  14. Gap Certificate (if applicable).
  15. Six passport size photographs of the candidate.
  16. Character Certificate from the institution wherefrom he/she has passed the qualifying examination, which should mention the status of his/her behavioral pattern, i.e., persistent violent or aggressive behavior or any desire to harm others.

Entry Qualification :-

H. S. C. or any other examination equivalent to 10+2 HSC examination of any recognized Board/ University after 12 years of study.50% in PCB for general category and 40% for reserved category.

Intake Capacity :- 100 students per year.
